Congressman Hal Rogers Votes Against Bill Decriminalizing Marijuana

WASHINGTON, DC (April 1, 2022) -- House Democrats on Capitol Hill passed a bill today that funnels taxpayer dollars to the marijuana industry, decriminializes marijuana, and creates an Office of Cannabis Justice to erase prior convictions for marijuana-related offenses. Congressman Hal Rogers voted against the bill, citing its disregard for science and the nation's drug abuse epidemic.

LEXINGTON, KY— A Stanford, Ky., man, Donald Means, 55, was sentenced to 240 months in federal prison on Monday, by U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell, after pleading guilty to distribution of a mixture of fentanyl and heroin, which resulted in the death of another person.
