Lutha Faye Wagers, 73, of Corbin, KY, passed away Saturday, May 19th, at Independence, KY.
Lutha was born in Manchester, KY on July 18, 1944, a daughter of the late Virgie (Henson) and Anderson Stewart. She was a seamstress.
Lutha was preceded in death by her husband, Butler Wagers, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters: Sandra Gurren and husband Charles of Independence, KY and Charlene Lippert of Elsmere, KY; and by her son,James Wagers and wife Dawn of Burlington, KY.
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Angela Wagers, James Wagers, Daniel Lippert, Katelyn Gurren and Matthew Gurren; 4 great grandchildren: Caleb Spradlin, Ariel Hill, Jordan Owen and Kaylee Carlisle; her sister, Beulah Stewart of Corbin, KY; and her brothers: Gene Stewart of Alexandria, KY and Jonathan Stewart of Corbin, KY.
In addition to her husband, Lutha was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Virgie Stewart; and her brothers: Arlie Stewart, J.C. Stewart and Bill Stewart.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23rd at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Joey Burns officiating. Burial will follow at the Stewart Cemetery on Pennington Hill.
