Eugene Byrd, age 84, of Sextons Creek, passed away Sunday July 14th, 2019 at AdventHealth Manchester.
Eugene is survived by the following children: Sherman Byrd, Middletown, OH, Anthony Byrd and wife Chyanne, Lafayette, TN, Iva Small and husband Glenn, Manchester, KY, and Gwen Byrd and husband Donny Ray, Oneida, KY.
Eugene was preceded in death by his wife Mattie Edwards, his parents Sherman and Amanda Byrd and the following brothers and sisters: Oliver Byrd, Dewey Byrd, Ed Byrd, Jesse Byrd, Tom Byrd, Rebecca Allen, Margaret Barrett, and Mae Barrett.
The funeral service for Eugene will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday July 17th, 2019 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Bryan Collett officiating. Burial will follow in the Robert Edwards Cemetery at Anglin Branch.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Tuesday July 16th, 2019.
