Tinsley Hubbard, 67, of Manchester, KY, passed away Thursday, September 5th, at his home.
Tinsley is survived by his devoted wife Joan (Mills) Hubbard of Manchester, KY; and his children: Crystal Gail Hubbard-Johnson and husband Dale, Monica Davis and husband James of Manchester, KY, Sonya Rodriguez and husband Leo of Clay City, KY, Natasha Renee Hubbard of Manchester, KY, and Charity Ray Hubbard of Manchester, KY.
He is also survived by these grandchildren: Kasi Nikole Hubbard, Cameron Tinsley Davis, Quentin Lee Hubbard, Paul Agustin Rodriguez, Hailey Breann Truitt, Trevor Dewayne Truitt and Natalia Raquel Villa; by these brothers and sisters: Arthur Hubbard, Norma Jean Seal, Margie Cruiz, Carolyn Brock, Kenneth Hubbard, Golden Hubbard, Dealic Collins and Jessie Ray Hubbard; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
For 35 years, Tinsley was a dedicated underground coal miner. He lived by these words, "If a man don't work, he shouldn't eat." His family knew him as a strict, self-disciplined man. He always told you the truth, even if it wasn't what you wanted to hear.
He loved his family and instilled in his daughters and grandchildren strong values, that have served them well.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Allie (Smith) Hubbard and these nephews: Earl Hubbard, Marcus Lee Hubbard and Timothy Lee Hubbard.
He will be laid to rest beside his beloved parents at the Hubbard Cemetery on Belles Fork Rd.
Tinsley will be fondly remembered by his family as a loving and protective father and husband.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 8th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
Family will receive family and friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 8th. Services will be conducted by officiating pastors: James Davis and Kenneth Hubbard.
