Chester Davidson, 70, of Oneida, KY, passed away Thursday, October 24th, at the VA Medical Center in Lexington.
Chester was born on October 4, 1949, to the union of Pearl and Delora (Gilbert) Davidson.
He leaves surviving his wife, Irene (Gibson) Davidson, his daughter, Rena Sue Davidson, and his granddaughter, Morgan Davidson, who seemed like his own.
He is also survived by six sisters: Sibyl Crum and husband Kale of Sandusky, OH, Ruby Sickle of Georgetown, GA, Gale Davis and husband Ernie of London, KY, Nancy Behme and husband Jack of Dunnellon, FL, Carol England and husband James of Lexington, and Brenda Jakubee of Hebron, KY; a special niece, Delora Gibson, and a host of family and friends.
Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Delora Davidson; two sisters: Janie Justice and Juanita Cote; and three brothers: Felix G. Davidson, James Roger Davidson and Robert Lee Davidson.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 27th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 27th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Charlie Murphy, Jr. and Darwood Santmier officiating.
Burial will follow 1:00 PM on Monday, October 28th at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery South East in Hyden, KY.
