Donald Hugh Cole was born on June 2, 1934 in Knox County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Bill Cole and Susan Mays Cole. He was united in marriage to his loving wife of 68 years, Charlotte McNew Cole.
He is also survived by three daughters, Donna Schott, Judy Hall and Lisa Tuttle and husband John all of London, Kentucky; a sister, GeNell Hall of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Kevin Schott of Lexington, Kentucky; Jason Hall and wife Patricia; Courtney Combs and husband Ronnie, Austin Tuttle and wife Colleen and Hannah Clontz and husband Austin all of London; six great-grandchildren, Kristamina Hall of Knoxville, Tennessee; Mackenzie and Mason Combs, Cooper and Lucy Tuttle and Brady Clontz all of London. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by two siblings, Ledford and Harold Cole.
Don was an employee of Kroger for 43 years where he was a manager. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church of London, and a founding member of Village Heights T.R.O.U.B.L.E. Band. He was also an avid golfer and loved to entertain and make people laugh and smile. Don was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed by all.
Donald Hugh Cole departed this life on Friday, November 1, 2019 being 85 years, 4 months and 30 days of age.
