Mr. Earl Woods, age 74 of Manchester, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012 at his home. He was born December 24, 1937 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Gilbert and Alice Gray Woods.
He is survived by his children: Connie Adams and her husband Woodson of Manchester, Barton Woods and his wife Amy of Manchester, and Jerry Woods and his wife Dena of Manchester. Also surviving are the following grandchildren: Andrea Miller and her husband Troy, Holly Hoskins, Brittany Hoskins, Amanda Woods, Matthew Woods, and Alex Woods, and his great granddaughters: Emily Hubbard and Breanna Hubbard, as well as his sisters: Nora Bare of Laurel, Indiana and Erma Wagers of Manchester.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Gilbert and Alice Woods, his wife: Ruth Woods, his daughter: Alice Marcum, his granddaughter: Robin Hoskins and these brothers and sisters: Betty Lou Woods, Elizabeth Vogel, Ruby Woods, Gracie Roark, Wade Woods, and Jack Woods.
Funeral Services for Mr. Earl Woods will be on Monday, December 10, at 1:30 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mills Cemetery in the Lockards Creek Community.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 9, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
