James Elmer Hayre, 68, of Little Goose, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012, at his home.
He was a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church and affiliated with the Muddy Gap Baptist Church.
Mr. Hayre was lineman for an electric company.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Mae Hayre, and these children: Jimmy Darrell Hayre, of Garrard, Jamie Pearl Hayre, of Lexington, and Tammy Henson, of London.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and his sister, Lucy Katherine Ferrell, of Goose Rock.
Funeral services for James Elmer Hayre will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lebanon Baptist Church with Wayne House, Roy Vaughn, and Wade England officiating. Burial will follow at the Lacy Abner Cemetery at Little Goose.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home.
