James Lester Smith, 45, of Lancaster, formerly of Manchester, was born March 3rd, 1968, passed away Monday, March 11th, 2013 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center, in Danville.
He is survived by his son, Dakota James Smith, of Lancaster, his mother, Mary Smith, of Manchester, and the following brothers and sisters: Kaleb Smith, Franklin Smith, Ruby Messer, Janet Hubbard, Burley Smith, Ivory Smith, Shirley Smith, and Betty Frazier, all of Manchester, William Lee, of Lexington, and Virgina Bowman, of Lanceburg.
Funeral services for James Lester Smith will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with Sill Lee and Cecil Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Harts Branch Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Thursday at the Britton Funeral Home.
