Mrs. Mary Kathryn Collins Botkins, age 69 of Garrard, passed Saturday, August 3, 2013at the St. Joseph London Hospital. She was born January 20, 1944 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Tink and Fannie Dunaway Williams.
She is survived by her children: Sherry and John Townsend, William D. Collins, Frank and Kim Collins, Patricia and Reece Smith, Pearl and Eddie Herd, Birdie and Frank Smith, and Laura and Russell Stewart, and Boyd and Amanda Collins. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Hiram Williams, George Williams, Arnold Williams, Shirley Williams, Junior Williams, Darrell Williams, Judy Smith, Ruby Lee Williams, Stella Jackson, and Ellen Collins.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Tink and Fannie Williams, her husband: William (T. J.) Collins, 2 sisters: Cassie Stewart and Sudie Henson, and her brother: Pearl Williams.
Funeral Services for Mrs. May Kathryn Collins Botkins will be on Wednesday, August 7, at 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. James Wagers and Rev. Donnie Mathis will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery in the Chop Bottom Community.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 PM until 9 PM and on Tuesday from 6 PM until 9 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
