Kathy Christine Sparks, age 54 of Manchester departed this life on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was born on Sunday, May 31, 1959 in Leslie County, Kentucky.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband: Gene Sparks, her daughters: Kristi Brewer and her husband John of Hazard, and Karen Collins of Manchester, 4 grandchildren: Megan Collins, Brandon Collins, Cody Brewer, and Laci Brewer. Also surviving is her mother: Rose Appleton, her very special aunt: Lola Jordan, and her brother: Raymond Begley.
She is preceded in death by her father: Turner Begley and her aunt: Wanda Rogers.
Funeral Services for Kathy Christine Sparks will be conducted on Saturday, March 8 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Donald Browning, Rev. James Madden, and Rev. Joey Burns will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Polly Marcum Cemetery in the Big Creek Community.
Visitation will be on Saturday after 11 AM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
