Oakley Gilbert, 63, of Oneida, was born March 12th, 1950, and passed March 10th, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Bertha Lee Gilbert, of Oneida, one daughter, Sondra Lee Sandlin, of Hazard, and three grandchildren, along with one brother Estill Gilbert of Winchester, KY, and these sisters, Ruth Calvert of Carrollton, KY, Nadine Bishop of Dallas, TX, and Betty Sue Bishop of Corbin, KY.
He is preceded in death by his son Scotty Gilbert, and his parents Isaac and Oda Gilbert.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
A Graveside service for Oakley Gilbert will be held 2PM Thursday at the Squire Hensley Cemetery in Oneida with Joey Burns officiating.
