Mr. Brian Keith Griffin, age 28 of Manchester, departed this life on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, Kentucky.
He was born on Tuesday, June 18, 1985 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Billy Darrell and Sherry Bowling Griffin. He was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church and was employed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Manchester FCI. He was a loving husband, father, and friend.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and best friend: Whitney Shepherd Griffin, his daughters: Presley Kate Griffin and Hadleigh Brynn Griffin, and his parents: Billy Darrell and Sherry Griffin. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents: Wilma and Ronnie Brown, his maternal grandmother: Alverna Bowling, his nephew: Wyatt Jones and his brother: Brandon Griffin.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Preston Bowling.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the 1st National Bank of Manchester.
Funeral Services for Mr. Brian Keith Griffin will be conducted on Monday, April 21 at 1 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Adam Hooker, Rev. Jay Mathis and Rev. Anthony Lovett will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Herd Cemetery in the Bar Creek Community.
The family of Mr. Brian Keith Griffin will receive family and friends on Sunday evening after 6 PM at the Horse Creek Baptist Church.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
