Mr. Willie Ray “Peachie Pie” Gray, age 75, departed this life on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in London.
He was born on Friday, May 19, 1939 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Estill and Verdlain Smallwood Gray. He was a coal truck driver and a member of the Pentecostal Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his sons: Jimmy Ray Gray and Russell Lee Gray, his grandchildren: Zachary Gray, Brooklyn Gray, and Leah Gray, his close personal friends: Haylie Henson, Angie Estep and Wilma Davis. Also surviving are his brothers: Donnie Gray and his wife Beverly and Bobby Gray and his wife Barbara and his former son-in-law: Carl Joseph Manning.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Estill and Verdlain Gray, his daughter: Lisa Gray Manning and his grandson: Corey Joseph Manning.
Funeral Services for Mr. Willie Ray “Peachie Pie” Gray will be conducted on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 2 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Wade England will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Friday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
