Robert Spurlock, 80, of Manchester, was born April 5th, 1934, and passed away Tuesday, September 23rd, 2014 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his children, James Spurlock and wife Ann of McKee, Roy Spurlock of Dayton, OH, Carl Spurlock and wife Vonda of Horse Creek, Glenn Spurlock and wife Alice of Knox Co., Clara France and husband Lester Jr. of Horse Creek, along with 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Emma Spurlock, his parents Levi and Martha Jane Spurlock, one son, Millard Sherdon Spurlock, one granddaughter, Jerri Lynn Vaughn, one brother, Carlo Spurlock, and one sister, Flossie Morgan.
He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his death.
Funeral services for Robert Spurlock will be held 11AM Saturday at the Britton Funeral Home chapel with George Roberts, Lyle Sizemore, Sill Lee, and Brian Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Vaughn Cemetery on Whites Branch. Visitation will be after 6PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home.
