Virginia (Susie) McCarty, 81, of Manchester, passed away Friday at the Manchester Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her daughters Suzanne McCarty Bruce and husband R.K. Bruce Jr., Louisville, KY, and Jackie Lou McCarty Shaffer, and husband Randell, South Lake, TX.
She is also survived by one brother Robert Barton Potter, JR, one sister Betty Potter Garrison, and the following grandchildren: Valerie Celeste Bruce, Andrew Ty Shaffer, Sara Morgan Shaffer, Seth Thomas Shaffer, and one great grandchild, Jackson Alexander Rose.
She is preceded in death by her husband Andrew Jackson McCarty, Jr., her parents James and Carrie Potter, and one sister Nancy Catherine Turner.
The Funeral Service will be held 2 PM Sunday October 19th, 2014 at the Manchester Baptist Church with Ken Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Manchester. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at the Britton Funeral Home.
