Shelby Barker, Jr., 81 formerly of Cincinnati, OH, and recently a resident of Homosassa, Fl, passed away Friday January 16th, 2015 in Inverness, FL.
He is survived by his wife Stella Mae Barker, and the following children: Patty Cox and husband Cecil, Ft. Myers, FL, Linda Fazioli and husband Frank, Ft. Myers, FL, Peggy Clouse and husband Dennie, Homosassa, FL, Sonny James Barker and wife Kim, Alexandria, KY, and Tammy Thornhill and husband Bill, Ft. Myers, FL.
He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, as well as two brothers James David Barker, Cincinnati, OH, and Roy Ferguson, Manchester, KY.
The funeral service will be held 2 PM Friday January 23rd, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel with Carlo Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 PM Friday at the Britton Funeral Home.
