Grover Spurlock age 92, of Manchester, Ky. passed from this life to eternal life on Wednesday January 28, 2015, at Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Spurlock is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Elinor D. Spurlock, and his devoted daughters, Donna Hall and husband Randy of Middletown, Ohio and Karen Rice and husband Dr. Jim Rice of Manchester, Ky. and Deno Gray who was just like a son to him and a loyal employee at Manchester Dry Cleaners for 30 years.
Mr. Spurlock is also survived by four grandchildren: David Weslsy Hall of Middletown, Ohio, Courtney Leigh Rice of Tampa, Florida, Christian Jordan Rice and wife Casey of Edgewood, Ky. and Cameron Chase Rice of Toledo, Ohio and one great granddaughter Adelai Jordan Rice.
Mr. Spurlock is also survived by one brother George Spurlock and two sisters Agney Gilbert and Ida Doyle.
Mr. Spurlock was precdeceased by his father and mother John Wilson and Sophia Spurlock, brothers Forester, Robert and Elbert Spurlock and two sisters, Addie Doyle and Mary Martin.
Grover brought sunshine, hope and laughter to all who loved him. He will be precious in our hearts forever.
Funeral service for Mr. Grover Spurlock will be held at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel on January 31, 2015 at 11:00 am
Visitation: The family will received friends from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Friday January 30, 2015 at the Britton Funeral Home Chapel.
Brother Ken Bolin will be officiating and burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens, Manchester, Ky.
