George Harris was born on October 19, 1916, in Cottongim, KY to the union of Ollie (Parker) Harris and Clint Harris. He leaves this world being 104 years, 4 months, and 15 days old. 

George was a coal miner and bulldozer operator until he retired in 1982. He was a devoted family man and a very good friend to everyone he knew. George was papa to many many people who were no relation to him. George was a Christian for 87 years and loved God, church, people, and life. He will be sadly missed, but never ever forgotten.

Mary Marie Keen Swafford was born on Saturday, January 23, 1943. She went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the union of McKinley and Lida Abner Keen.

She was a homemaker and a life long resident of Clay County. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved flower gardening and sewing. She was a member of the Otter Creek Baptist Church.

Walter Morgan

Obituary for Walter Morgan

Mr. Walter Morgan, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY, at the age of 70 years old. He was born on Sept. 24, 1950 in Leslie County the son of the late Henry and Eva Sizemore Morgan. By occupation Walter was a retired coal miner, and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Laurel County the past year and a half.

Walter was affiliated with the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church at Asher, KY.

He liked turkey, deer and squirrel hunting and enjoyed vegetable gardening. Walter loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
