LEXINGTON, KY— A Mt. Sterling, KY, man, Timothy Douglas Snedegar, 65, was sentenced to 36 months in federal prison on Monday, by U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell, after previously pleading guilty to conspiring to commit wire fraud related to his participation in a scheme to defraud a private crop insurance company.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced on Monday, December 20, 2021 that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will distribute more than $115 million in pandemic relief funding to 897 Kentucky healthcare providers through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). These funds will be distributed as Phase 4 of the Provider Relief Fund, which was established through the bipartisan Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
