Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with Deputy Dewey Grubb arrested an individual off Highway 1524 on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at approximately 12:41 PM.
Arrested was Ashley Walker age 28 of Goose Rock, Ky.
The arrest occurred on Highway 1524 10 miles south of Manchester.
While executing a search warrant with Department of Fish and Wildlife they received a call of a vehicle matching the description of a person of interest was on Mill Creek Road. While in route to the call they observed the vehicle driving north on Highway 1524.
Sheriff Patrick Robinson activated his emergency lights to initiate a traffic stop on the above mentioned subject, at that time she failed to stop and continued on Highway 1524. The pursuit continued for approximately 2 miles then came to a stop.
Ashley Walker was charged with Fleeing or evading police, 2nd degree (Motor Vehicle) and Reckless Driving.
