Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Gary Mehler along with Deputy Hunter Disney arrested two individuals on Friday night June 21, 2019 at approximately 8:30 PM.
The arrests occurred off Chapel Road, approximately 4 miles north of London while deputies were assisting social services with a complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies and while conducting an investigation at a residence there, two individuals arrived walking and deputies conducted an investigation on the two individuals determining that they were both under the influence.
Arrested was:
Rocky Everett Vaughn age 33 of Chapel Rd., East Bernstadt charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
Whitney Nicole Johnson age 24 of Chapel Rd., East Bernstadt charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
