Clay County, Ky. (Sept. 21, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on September 20, 2019 at approximately 11:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested Donnie Bryant, 42 of Williamsburg.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Edwards was dispatched to a complaint of numerous individuals at the Senior Citizens Building on South Highway 421.
Upon arrival Deputy Edwards made contact with the above mentioned subject laying in the bed of a pickup truck that belonged to the business.
Deputy Edwards ran the subjects information through dispatch that confirmed the subject had active warrants for his arrest.
Once being placed under arrest the subject began to resist arrest, after a brief struggle with the subject he was placed under arrest without further incident.
Donnie Bryant was charged with:
- Serving Bench Warrant for Court
- Serving Bench Warrant for Court
- Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
- Criminal Trespassing 3rd Degree
- Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree
- Resisting Arrest
This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center
