MANCHESTER, KY (Oct. 1, 2019) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that:On September 30, 2019 at approximately 3:45 PM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson arrested Stephen Baird, 26 of Paw Paw Road.
The arrest occurred when Sheriff Robinson received a complaint of a male subject following his ex-spouse at the Clay County Shopping Center.
Upon arrival, Sheriff Robinson came in contact with the subject who was operating a motor vehicle.
Through investigation it was determined the subject was operating on Suspended License and had been following the female for two days at different locations.
Stephen Baird was charged with:
• Failure to Maintain required insurance
• Operating on Suspended or Revoked Operator license
• Stalking 2nd Degree
