Parole Violator Arrested in Kentucky by LSO Found with Suspected Methamphetamine

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Taylor McDaniel arrested Billy Wilder age 46 of London on Tuesday afternoon January 19, 2021 at approximately 12:24 PM.

The arrest occurred off Boardwalk Circle, approximately 2 miles north of London after Sheriff's investigators developed information on the whereabouts of a parole violator.

When deputies located this individual they found him in possession of suspected Methamphetamine.

Billy Wilder was charged on a Kentucky parole board parole violation warrant charging:

  1. Absconding parole supervision
  2. Failure to report to parole officer as directed regarding a conviction in Leslie County Circuit Court on charges of:
  • Burglary – third-degree
  • Complicity to commit burglary – third-degree
  • Complicity to commit theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000

In addition, this subject was charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional center.

Assisting on the arrest were for the Laurel County Sheriff's office: Maj. Chuck Johnson, Detective Bryon Lawson, Detective James Sizemore, and Detective Robert Reed.
