LONDON, KY (December 16, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett arrested Stanley W. Roberts age 41 of Sunny Brooke Road, Heidrick, KY early Thursday morning December 16, 2021 at approximately 2:33 AM.
The arrest occurred on a business parking lot approximately 10 miles South of London after deputies located a suspicious vehicle there and conducted an investigation on its occupants.
An occupant was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine, Suboxone, Marijuana, digital scales, and unused distribution bags.
The occupant initially misidentified himself however upon learning his identity it was determined this individual was wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Stanley Roberts was charged with:
- Giving officer false identifying information
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance – second-degree
- Possession of Marijuana
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
In addition, this subject was wanted on a Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
