10:31 A.M. - Message from Mr. Hacker:
I want to first reassure our school families and community that our students are safe and everything is under control. We do want to share with everyone that currently our school is under soft lockdown, which means that we’re asking our teachers to keep students in their classroom’s and teaching and learning is continuing.
This morning, we had a report from from a student that another student had a gun with him. We currently have 2 SRO’s on site along with the Sheriff, and school district administration. After an extensive search, we did find a gun on the student. That student is with law enforcement officials. We will continue to update everyone through the day, and I want to assure everyone that all students are safe.
