LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Austyn Weddle along with Capt. Chris Edwards arrested Jessica Barnett age 36 of Harrodsburg, KY on Sunday afternoon March 10, 2024 at approximately 3:04 PM.
The arrest occurred at a residence off Jackson Road, approximately 6 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a burglary in progress complaint.
Deputies found Jessica Barnett at the scene.
Deputies conducted an investigation and determined that allegedly this individual had been dropped off at the residence earlier.
Deputies found that the inside of the house had been torn apart and destroyed – Jessica Barnett could not advise how long she had been inside the residence.
Jessica Barnett was charged with:
- Burglary – second-degree
- Criminal mischief – first-degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
