LONDON, KY - London Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Officer Jordan Childers arrested Robert AKA "Bobby” Laws, age 44 of London, KY in possession of a large quantity of suspected Methamphetamine.
London Police Department Officers went to his residence at 301 Morgan Street to attempt to serve an active warrant of arrest on Laws.
Upon arrival, Officer Childers observed Laws in his outbuilding and in possession of approximately 1 pound of suspected Methamphetamine. Officers also located multiple bags of marijuana, baggies, scales and smoking pipes.

Officer Childers was assisted on scene by Sgt. Wade Mitchell, Officer Jeremy Gabbard and Officer Coty Arnold of the London Police Department.
Robert Laws was placed under arrest on his warrant and charged with:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (>or= 2 Grams Methamphetamine
- Trafficking in Marijuana 1st Offense (Less than 8 oz)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Laws was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
