Milton Downey, Jr., 71, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, December 3rd, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London.
Milton was born in , KY on January 14, 1948, a son of the late Rosie and Milton Downey.
He is survived by his wife, Edna (Swafford) Downey of Manchester, and his daughter, Jennifer LaRay Jobe and husband Raymond of Corbin.
Milton is also survived by his sister, Hazel Hubbard and husband Abraham Hubbard of Edmonton, KY; his sister-in-law, Geraldine Downey of Manchester, and his two grandchildren: Raymond Dale Jobe II and Hayleigh Nicole Jobe.
In addition to his parents, Milton was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Wayne Downey; his brother, D.C. Downey; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruby Henson and husband Cecil, Martha Hubbard and husband Joe, and Jessie Ingram and husband Joe.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 7th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Chris Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Swafford Cemetery at Otter Creek.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Friday, December 6th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
