Mr. Hubert Hooker, age 91 of Garrard, KY passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013 at his home.
He was born February 7, 1922 in Clay County, Kentucky to the union of Charlie Hooker and Elsie Cody Hooker. He was a coal miner and a member of the Holiness Church.
Surviving Mr. Hooker is his wife: Irene Henson Hooker of Garrard, his children: Morgan Hooker and his wife Linda of Manchester, Ruby Smith and her husband Wendell of Greenfield, Indiana, Jerry Hooker of Manchester, Buford Hooker and his wife Glenda of Manchester, and Bruce Hooker and his wife Renee of Corbin, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and his special care giver: Patsy Henson.
Mr. Hooker is preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Elsie Hooker, and two granddaughters: Elizabeth Kate Hooker and Kristy Irene Hooker.
Funeral Services for Mr. Hubert Hooker will be conducted on Wednesday, May 8, at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sill Lee, Rev. Carl Henson, and Rev. James Ruth will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be on Tuesday evening, after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
