Marilyn Joyce York Harrell, age 64, of Manchester departed this life on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her home.
She was born November 26, 1949 to Willie Robert and Eliza Hasty York in Richmond, Indiana. She was a retired nursing aid and a member of the Calvary Worship in London, KY.
She is survived by her children: Jerry Woodrow Oliver, Jr. and Trisha of London, KY., Willie Robert Oliver and Ida of Hamilton, Ohio, Tracey Lynn Oliver Ostrander and David of Tucson, Arizona, and Kevin Oliver and Patricia of Manchester; 16 grandchildren: Cory, Casey, Robert, Hallie, Jatana, Jennifer, Tanner, Alex, Logan, Ricky, Cody, Kevin, Jeremy, Emily, Zackary and Billy; 1 great Grandchild: Anna Oliver, her beloved pet: Cosmo and her special niece: Patricia Slauther.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Willie and Eliza York, 1 daughter: Jatana Oliver, 2 brothers: Zack York and Robert York and 4 sisters: Elizabeth Burton, Dorothy Reese, Francis Hall, and Evelyn Larison.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 3:00 P. M. at the Refuge Worship Center with Rev. Gary Harris officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2014 after 2:00 PM until at the Refuge Worship Center.
