John “JC” Lewis of Wooton, Kentucky was born on September 17, 1955 in Wooton, Kentucky to the union of the late Felix Lewis and Martha Alice Wells. He was a life-long resident of Leslie County and by occupation, he was a retired coal miner. JC enjoyed four-wheeler riding, especially off road riding in his tracker and watching the horses on Leeco.
Roy Gene Morgan was born July 07, 1952 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Kermit R. Morgan and the late Elsie Sizemore Morgan. Roy was a life-long resident of Leslie County and was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church and the Essie Christian Missionary Alliance. Roy was a retired coal miner where he worked as a foreman for Dixie Fuel. He held many positions during his career and took great interest in his job and the heavy equipment he operated.
John Jones - devoted father, loving husband, community pharmacist, and friend to all who knew him- died unexpectedly in his home in Morristown, Tennessee on Monday, March 16th at the age of 41.
He was born August 5, 1978, in Corbin and raised in Manchester, Kentucky. Although his life was short he lived it full of hard work, joy, and loving kindness. John was the head Pharmacist and Co-Owner of MD Pharmacy in Morristown. John was known in the community as a dedicated healthcare worker always putting the needs of others first. He was well loved and respected by his patients, fellow pharmacists, pharmacy staff, nurses and physicians in the community.
Janice Dalton was born January 29, 1940 in Jackson County and departed this life Monday, March 16, 2020 at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, being 80 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Joe & Lela (Smith) Angel.
