LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zach Allen along with Deputy Austyn Weddle and Deputy Byron Grimes arrested a Michigan man on Saturday evening October 14, 2023 at approximately 5:57 PM.

BELL COUNTY, KY - The Bell County Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Wednesday night October 11, 2023, Bell County Sheriff Units Sgt. Frank Foster, Deputy Jody Risner, and Deputy Austin Poindexter executed warrants at a Varilla Road residence in Bell County. 

FRANKFORT, Ky. — According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky, the former Greenup County Sheriff, Keith Cooper, 70, was sentenced to 13 months in federal prison on Friday, by U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, for one count of mail fraud and one count of federal program fraud.
