U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky - Monday, June 23, 2025

COVINGTON, KY – An Aberdeen, Ohio, man, Gary Cunningham, Jr., 37, and Frederick Overly, III, 58, of Maysville, Ky., were sentenced to 268 months and 120 months, respectively, by Chief U.S. District Judge David Bunning for one count of conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and eight counts of distribution of five grams or more of methamphetamine.  Cunningham was also convicted of possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute it.

LONDON, KY - The London Police Department reports that on Friday, June 13th, 2025 at approximately 9:11 am, Sgt. Ben Webb arrested Nicholas Phillips, age 36, of St. Catharine, KY.

PORTLAND, OR (Friday, June 20, 2025) — Six defendants made their first appearances in federal court today after committing various offenses—including assaulting federal officers and creating a hazard on federal property—during ongoing protest gatherings near a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in South Portland.

LONDON, KY – A Laurel County, Kentucky company, Facial Expressions, pleaded guilty to the receipt of misbranded drugs in interstate commerce. Separately, its owner, Dr. Paula Gill, pleaded guilty to providing false information on an application to the DEA.
