DESCHUTES COUNTY, OR (August 11, 2021) - On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at approximately 6:15 P.M., Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a vehicle crash on Highway 372 (Century Drive) near milepost 8.
Preliminary investigation revealed a Toyota Land Cruiser, driven by Flynn David Lovejoy (19) of Bend, was eastbound when it traveled onto the shoulder and struck a bicycle operated by Richard Wolf (61) of Bend.
Wolf sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.
Deschutes County Sheriff's Office lodged Flynn Lovejoy at the Deschutes County Jail on charges of:
- Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants
- Hit and Run
- Manslaughter
