Harold Wagers, 84, of Manchester, KY, passed away Thursday, October 17th, at the Landmark of Laurel Creek.
Harold was born in Flat Creek, KY on January 6, 1935, a son of the late Siller (Smith) and Lawrence Wagers. He was a life long member of the Mud Lick Church of the Brethren. Harold was a logger, a school bus driver, coal company operator and a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Wagers; his two sons: Randall Wagers and wife Rose Mary of Manchester, and Zandall Wagers and wife Melinda of Flat Creek; his two daughters: Debbie Smith and husband Jackie of Red Bird, and Dana Kirby and husband Derrick of Springboro, OH; and by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his first wife of 59 years and the mother of his children, Goldie Wagers; and by his brother, Kenneth Wagers, and sister, Lauania Freeman.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, October 21st at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Dwayne Yost, Dave Balmer and Jimmy Wayne Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Mudlick Cemetery on Sandhill.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Sunday, October 20th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
