FRANKFORT, KY – Most new laws approved during the Kentucky General Assembly's 2021 session will go into effect on Tuesday, June 29.
LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Marcus Stigall along with Deputy Brent France, Deputy Greg Poynter, and Deputy Charlie Johnson arrested Paul Bruce Mathews age 63 of London on Sunday night June 13, 2021 at approximately 10:40 PM.
FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Daniel Cameron on Friday June 11, 2021 filed a lawsuit in Laurel Circuit Court on behalf of Kentucky crime victims. The lawsuit, filed jointly with Commonwealth’s Attorney Jackie Steele, seeks to invalidate a Parole Board directive that limits the Board’s ability to order a prisoner to serve out a life sentence at an initial parole eligibility hearing. The directive grants a new parole hearing to more than 40 Kentucky prisoners whom the Board previously ordered to serve out their life sentences for charges including murder, rape, and kidnapping.
MANCHESTER, KY (June 14, 21) - Clay County Sheriffs Office is reporting that: On June 14, 2021 at approximately 10:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with Det. J Kelsey and PAO Trent Baker arrested Shawn Shoupe, 34 of Curry Branch Road.
LONDON, KY (June 14, 21) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett arrested Amy N. Fultz age 32 of South Wind St., London early Sunday morning June 13, 2021 at approximately 2:40 AM.
The arrest occurred off fourth Street in London after this subject was determined to be wanted on an outstanding warrant.
In addition, this subject was found in possession of a large amount of suspected Methamphetamine.
