VICTIM IDENTIFIED IN DEATH INVESTIGATION IN LETCHER COUNTY, KENTUCKY

JEREMIAH, KY– The Kentucky State Police (KSP) reports that on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at approximately 12:58 A.M, KSP Post 13, Hazard, received a 911 call in reference to a female being located deceased on Doty Creek in the Jeremiah community of Letcher County.

FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced Wednesday, June 12, 2024 that Kentucky will receive its share of a $700 million nationwide settlement with Johnson & Johnson for its baby and body powder products. Over four years, the Commonwealth will receive $9,381,168.34—roughly $2.3 million each year.
