FRANKFORT, KY (July 13, 2020) – Attorney General Daniel Cameron today announced six randomly selected Kentucky counties to undergo post-primary election audits. His Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI) will conduct independent inquiries to uncover any irregularities in the June 2020 primary election.

It was a busy week in Frankfort as several Interim Joint Committees met to discuss issues the state is facing. The common theme in all the committee meetings continues to be COVID-19. This virus appears to be with us for the near future, so it is important to find safe, effective, common sense solutions to move all aspects of Kentucky forward. 

Homeland Security Grant Announced for Leslie County, Ky.

FRANKFORT, KY  – The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security has awarded Leslie County with a $13,036.61 grant to purchase new equipment and services for local mapping data collection. The Leslie County grant application was one of 61 considered for these funds awarded through the State Homeland Security Grant Program.

McKee, KY. (July 13, 2020) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted by Jackson County 911 on Friday, July 11, 2020 just after 1:00 am, in reference to a shooting that occurred at a residence on Drip Rock Holiness Church Rd in McKee.
