Attorney General Coleman Protects Kentucky Infants from Abusive Daycare Workers at Kentucky Supreme Court

FRANKFORT, KY (Jan. 3, 2025) – Attorney General Russell Coleman announced today the Kentucky Supreme Court upheld the sentences of two Western Kentucky women convicted of abusing infants at the daycare where they were employed. The Attorney General's Office of the Solicitor General defended the convictions before the Commonwealth's highest court.

LONDON, KY - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office has reported that shift Sgt. Allen Turner arrested Zachary Cotton, age 25, of London, on the evening of Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at approximately 9:06 PM. The incident took place on Old Way Road, approximately 4 miles east of London, after Sgt. Turner attempted to stop a black Suzuki Grand Vitara observed traveling at an excessive speed.
